Welcome to Whiskey Hills by Distilled Destinations, our newly remodeled luxury log cabin just north of Asheville. We’re at the top of the mountain for the new Hatley Ski Resort! Whether you\'re enjoying your morning coffee or stargazing under the clear night sky, the scenery from Whiskey Hills is going to leave you refreshed. We\'ve paid attention to every detail when remodeling this special home. Beautiful art, comfortable furniture, hot tub, gas grill, high end mattresses and comfy linens.
The space
We’re so excited to welcome you to the newest Distilled Destinations Property - Whiskey Hills in Mars Hill NC! We’ve fallen in love with the cabin and the area, and you will too!
We at the top of the mountain for Hatley Pointe Ski Resort - the new boutique ski resort opening this winter! You can walk over and ski down, even stop into the cabin for lunch and keep enjoying your ski day!
• 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms
• Bedroom 1: King bed and en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 2: King bed, desk area and bathroom right next door
• Bedroom 3: Two Full sized (double) beds and bathroom right next door, shared with bathroom 2.
• Bedroom 4: King bed and bathroom right next door, not shared with another bedroom.
• There’s an additional half bath and mudroom by the front entrance.
• Just completely remodeled with new appliances, fresh paint, refinished floors, all new lighting, all new fixtures, sinks and countertops, all new high end furniture, new luxury mattresses, bedding, and so much more.
• Kitchen features cafe appliances with a double oven for convenient cooking - you could host a family holiday here!
• All beds are equipped with new luxury mattresses and Parachute bedding and pillows for a high end comfortable stay.
• Thoughtfully curated original art throughout the property.
• Fully Stocked Kitchen with everything you could need
• Huge outdoor deck on the main level with outdoor dining, lounging, and a big and new gas grill as well.
• Another deck off the game room downstairs with a hot tub!
The cabin is close to the Appalachian Trail, with so much great hiking nearby! It’s a biking paradise as well with winding mountain trails. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you!
Bring your pups along! We’re dog friendly for up to 2 dogs, less than 50 pounds each and no aggressive breeds.
It’s also very close to Asheville for a vibrant city scene. Asheville has great food, a wonderful brewery scene, wineries, entertainment - you name it! There’s no wonder this is one of the fastest growing areas in the US.
Guest access
The entire home is yours to enjoy, and you’ll self check in with a convenient code for the front door. There is parking right outside the front of the house, with space for 4 vehicles.

Our stay at whiskey’s Hill was Amazing! It was for Mother’s Day and for mom’s birthday! My family love the place. It had all the amenities for a family fun and plenty of space to sleep. The views of the mountains is breath taking and peaceful, not only from the house but also from the top of the mountain! Trust me when I say we didn’t want to leave. My husband chose this place because it is a place that has a woody cabin feel but with modern decorations. We love the decors that we want to have them for our own house. We also spent a day in Asheville going to the Basilica of St. Lauren and the Biltmore Castle. Both places are amazing and a must if you stay there!

Wonderful cabin to relax and be with the nature. View from the cabin was amazing and totally we all had a comfortable and wonderful stay. Kitchen was loaded with all the essentials items. Loads of blankets and towels. Hot tub was amazing. Kids enjoyed a lot. Will definitely visit again during fall and winter. Sunset was so magical near the picnic table on the top of the mountain. Can’t miss the sunset. It’s so breathtaking! Thank you!

If you wanna beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of life then I’d encourage you to stay here. From the moment we connected and follow through, I’ve felt as though I was part of the family when coordinating with the hosts. The scenes are incredible. The home is beautiful. The beds are blissful. All in all, we look forward to staying again!

Book this place! Everything was perfect for our brief stay. The views were stunning and the cabin looks just like the photos. The place was very well stocked and all the extra details were in place. Beds were warm and cozy and the bathroom essentials were in place. The hot tub was so nice and our kids really enjoyed the pool table. The host was flexible with our check out so we could enjoy a little more time. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

The interior of the house is beautifully updated! The finishes, furniture, fixtures and appliances are all fresh and high quality. The view is unbelievable! Sitting on the deck, overlooking the mountains was so relaxing. Sandy was quick to respond when I requested to book and was proactive in letting me know when the house was ready. She also suggested a short walk up the street for a perfect sunset view. It was incredible. The house was very clean and there were amenities I haven’t experienced at other homes like beach towels for the hot tub, nice throw blankets in the living room, and charging stations in each room….. I appreciate the thoughtful details and sense that Sandy really wants people to enjoy the stay. Thank you, it was great!

The home is just as it appears in four photos, although ski lifts are not operational. The drive to the home is to be as expected for a mountain cabin, but lovely area and very friendly neighbors.
