The space
Welcome to Whiskey River by Distilled Destinations - your jumping off point for an incredible vacation in the Texas Hill Country! The concert lineup at Gruene Hall just keeps getting better and better - come stay and enjoy the close proximity to Gruene.
The brand new complex, finished in summer 2023, is beautiful, and this particular unit is incredible. We re-painted and professionally put together a Texas Music theme to go along with the Whiskey River title and Gruene Hall adjacent location! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a completely stocked kitchen with everything you need. All new furniture with comfortable high end mattresses, linens, furniture and appliances.
The artwork is particularly special - there is a custom made guitar from Texas license plates, an ode to Willie! High end appliances with an ice maker in the freezer.
The space includes 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and accommodates 6 beautifully. The outdoor patio is not to be missed, with a large dining table, couch and chairs. Enjoy those Texas nights on your private patio!
The condo is exactly 1/2 mile from Gruene Hall. Nice walk during the day, and plentiful Ubers if you’d prefer. There are also golf cart rentals in the area if you’d like. Check out our guidebook for details.

The whole condo is yours - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, big patio, kitchen, living, and laundry. There’s a very large private patio for lounging and dining, with access both from the living and main bedroom. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked.
There are also public areas by the river with picnic tables, grills and smokers. Pick your area and make a day of it with the family! Riverfront means great swimming and it’s right by the rapids at Gruene for some quick access to tubing.

We were only able to stay one night but it was perfect!! We came into town for a concert at Gruene Hall and wanted to stay close enough so no one had to drive and this was perfect!! The place is perfectly decorated, clean and the perfect size for our group!! The 3rd room having the 2 beds in it worked out great for my daughter and her friend so they didn’t have to share a bed. This is where we will stay next time we are in town for concert or maybe just a weekend getaway!!

This is probably one of my favorite places i have stayed at in a long time. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and absolutely comfortable. It was so nice to be so close to town, but it was also in an area that was nice and quiet when needed. Sandy was a wonderful host, very responsive, kind and helpful. We would LOVE to book again with her at Whiskey River in Gruene. We are looking forward to future visits!

Very nice place- we enjoyed our time and had fun watching all the deer off the patio. The decor was amazing and the kitchen was beautiful. Comfy beds let us sleep in peacefully!

Sandy\'s condo is very well-appointed and nicely furnished. It sits on the banks of the Guadalupe River with a green space viewed from the breezy balcony. The balcony is not entirely private, but there were few residents/other guests during our stay, which made it all the more peaceful (we saw more deer than humans). Bars, restaurants, shops, live music, and good vibes in Gruene are all minutes away. We had a nice time!

So excited to find this condo exactly as described. My aunt is very picky and was thrilled with the condo! Will definitely rent again! So comfortable and the kitchen is completely stocked with anything you should need. Beds were comfortable and the location was great. Walked to Gruene everyday. Sandy was great at communicating.
