Welcome to our Century-Old rustic mill cabin. This one bedroom, one bath cabin can sleep up to four people if using the sleeper sofa. Located on upper Mirror Pond, Deschutes Cabin at Deschutes Dunes is on Bend\'s famous Deschutes River Trail (Pioneer Reach) and offers easy access to Drake Park which is only a couple blocks north (keep walking through Drake Park and in about 10 minutes you have arrived downtown). Two blocks south of Deschutes Dunes is Bend\'s newest river park, Miller\'s Landing. Continuing south you will cross the river and arrive at McKay Park. A little further down the trail you will find The Old Mill and Les Schwab Amphitheater.

Sunny porch looks out to the three lot common backyard, beach and river. Enjoy Adirondack chairs and chaise loungers for soaking up the sun, an Outside BBQ, dining table and chairs...Amazing river views from the cabin and easy low bank river access to launch your kayak, canoe or SUP from the huge, park-like shared yard. We have a few canoes, plenty of float toys and several kayaks, including two kids kayak for our guests... You will love the perfect location. Whether you head toward the many parks, downtown, the local pubs or Old Mill District, you will find yourself in the middle of it all.

The home is a block away from the popular French Market. A short walk or a quick bike ride takes you to the breweries and restaurants of Galveston Avenue like 10 Barrel, Victorian Pantry, or downtown.
