New & updated!! Oakwater Resort is a superbly located vacation resort community, just 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World. Nearby-world class attractions include Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center, Universal Studios, Sea World, ESPN complex, and Disney Springs. This peaceful and gated community has beautifully maintained grounds, a year-round heated zero-entry pool, hot tub, tennis courts, children’s splash area, playground, clubhouse, games room, and fitness facility!
The space
This second-floor townhouse is just steps from the Oakwater Clubhouse, year-round heated pool and hot tub! Super convenient! We have outfitted the 1400+ sq ft property with all NEW furniture, hotel quality linens, 4 smart tvs, smart lock, and a new AC. All beds have high quality mattresses! (No futons and pullout couches!) We also installed designer, commercial grade, flooring in all 3 bedrooms. All other floors are tiled. (No carpet!) The unit has a personal router with high-speed internet for the exclusive use of our guests.
You are invited to enjoy your morning coffee on the screened patio. This lovely sitting area, overlooking the pool, is accessible from both the living room and master bedroom. The newly painted property, with high ceilings, is fully equipped to make your stay like home. Between stays, we professionally clean and sanitize all linens and surfaces. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property due to our family having severe allergies.
We prioritize guests who appreciate the steps we take to ensure a 5-star guest experience and assure us that they will take care nice care of our property. We take pride in our excellent reviews, especially as it pertains to cleanliness. This is a private home and personally managed by the owner. The owner is an experienced Superhost who owns and manages a second Airbnb vacation property in Galena, Illinois in the Galena Territory. A previous property was owned in Miramar Beach, FL.
Guest access
The Oakwater resort is conveniently located near a Super Walmart with many dining and shopping options close by. The nearest airport is Orlando International Airport, 19 miles from the property. An Uber/taxi from the airport is approximately $65 each way.
Other things to note:
We utilize a ring door bell and remote key system such that guests have a unique code assigned to access to our property. Prior to arrival, driver’s license, license plate number/car registration, and all guest names and ages need to be provided to the owner. Oakwater security enforces strict parking rules (no campers, RVs) and no overnight parking without a parking pass. Space for second car available.
The pool is open daily 8:00AM - 10:00PM. Note: Sometime between 8-10am (M-F), there is a closure for cleaning. The gym is open 8:00AM - 6:00PM. Earlier gym hours may be available. Contact the host, if needed.
Note: The owner can receive multiple inquiries for the same calendar dates. As such, an inquiry for the property does not result in a reservation (or a temporary hold). A reservation is contingent on booking the property.

We stayed here twice during our 10 day trip. Both times were great. The apartment is clean and simple. All necessities provided. The community was quiet, clean, and felt safe. Close to a ton of stores, restaurants, and Disney. Rhonda was SUPER attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you for being a great host, and for a nice stay. We would definitely stay again.

Rhonda’s place is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Disney area. The place was very clean and spacious. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool area but it was right next to the place. There are plenty of restaurants within 5 or 10 mins from the place and Walmart is walkable. We had an amazing time and will definitely use Rhonda’s place again! Thanks for the great communications and wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The Disney-inspired décor, games, and puzzles were a hit with my kids, and the gated community felt very safe. The location was convenient for Disney World, though traffic returning from the parks was a bit frustrating. The home had all the essentials, though larger frying pans would have been helpful for cooking for five. The limited supply of garbage bags and toilet paper was slightly inconvenient, but the host, Rhonda, was upfront about this and incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. One downside was a noisy neighbor below us for a couple of nights, but he checked out quickly, and the rest of our stay was peaceful. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the TVs were perfect for relaxing after a long day at the parks. Overall, this was a fantastic value compared to Disney hotels. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to families looking for a fun, comfortable place near Disney.

This condo was exactly what we needed for our trip to Disney! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We walked to Walmart and Starbucks almost everyday. Pool was heated and hot tub steps from condo which was easy to access. Everything we needed to cook with was provided. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! Host was very responsive and described everything for smooth check in and out! I will stay here another time for sure on another Disney trip!

Great location for anything Disney. Condo was very quiet. Highly recommend for a family. Lots of restaurants close by. Host provides great instructions, so makes trip easy.

Rhonda’ s place was AMAZING!! It was the perfect size and layout for my family. It was great having our own rooms, two bathrooms, and a balcony off of the master bedroom. The location was perfect for getting to the Orlando parks and for spending a day at the pool/hot tub/ pickleball. I truly felt like I could relax in Rhonda’s place. The life machine was a great touch as well!! We would love to stay again if her place is available!!

after just getting home to freezing England missing the place already, the townhouse was spotless and had the essential items needed to get us through the first couple of days with having to do a big shop. Location was perfect less than 20 minutes drive to the parks would be quicker but traffic wasn\'t on our side can\'t give it enough praises. thank you Rhonda

10/10 would stay here again. This house is clean, conviently located within walking distance of Walmart and Starbucks, and about a 10 minute drive from the Disney parks. Rhonda was an awesome host and was super responsive and flexible to our groups travel schedule. Definitely recommend staying here!

Location very close to Disney parks A Walmart so close you can even walk to it Some good restaurants nearby Comfortable home for 2 couples and 2 children Central air-conditioning/heating A club with a pool next door (I didn\'t use it because it was cold) I didn\'t miss almost anything, maybe a sandwich maker and a coffee machine that keeps the drink warm ( but this is cultural for Brazilians ) oh, an air fryer would also be useful And finally, I missed better covers for the cold; even though there is a heater, culturally; we like to make the environment colder and use a cover (again a cultural situation) Overall, a 9.9!
