Description
Secret Courtyard Cottage is truly the best kept secret in Key West. Recently renovated, this small historic cigar maker\'s cottage was originally built in the early 1900s, but has all the modern updated conveniences for your perfect vacation. Follow the hidden pathway to discover this adorable cottage with lush tropical foliage and a private hot tub to relax and enjoy the evening. The large deck offers outdoor dining and plenty of chaise lounges to get that perfect tan. You can cook up the catch of the day on the gas grill.
The open floor plan offers a modern kitchen with granite counter tops, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. The living area is open and airy with a small dining area, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi.
The primary bedroom is toward the back of the cottage. It is roomy and has a queen bed, large closet, and chest of drawers. The second bedroom also has a queen bed with French doors for easy access to the deck and lush tropical trees and plants. The second bath is only accessible from the outside. It was added for your convenience in the laundry area.
This cottage is truly a tropical hideaway!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The private courtyard was fantastic, as we spent most of our time sitting at the table. It was very private, even though being surrounded by other rentals, and the proximity to Duval Street was great. If a on premise pool is important to a guest, this is not the location. As the facets of this location were definitely positive and in the majority, I will focus on only a few negatives. The primary(inside) bathroom shower is very tight and low, therefore we showered in the outside access bathroom. The lounge chairs in the courtyard were torn and covered with bird/lizard excrement. We would have liked a larger variety/quantity of glasses, particularly smaller low ball and pint. To us, these were the only cons, therefore there were a tremendous amount of positive aspects. Also, the close proximity to the Duval Loop was definitely nice.
