Description
Enter the private courtyard of the home, to a lush tropical oasis. The large, free form pool with coral stone patio makes you ready to dive right in and relax poolside amongst the tropical foliage. An expanded Ipe deck area is perfect for an outdoor dinner under the stars or lounge in the oversized sitting area tucked into the landscape. If you follow the path into the back corner of the property you will be rewarded with a beautiful hammock to curl up into, perfect for an afternoon siesta or a good book.
Step inside the French doors into the rustic charm of this cottage with its Dade County Pine walls and cathedral ceilings in the living area. All new flooring throughout the common areas compliment the wood walls. The kitchen has retro style appliances, quartz counters and mosaic backsplash that retain the character of the house. There is a laundry room just beyond the kitchen.
To the front and back of common living areas are the two bedroom suites. You choose which one is your primary suite! They both have the same character of the rest of the house with its rustic charm. The front bedroom features a king bed, dade county pine walls and bath ensuite. The back bedroom, with queen bed, has rustic wood walls, with stylish furniture and a bath with shower.
Havana Lane, the street itself, hearkens back to a time when cigar makers lived in the neighborhood, gathering on porch stoops to pass on the latest news. Near the notorious Key West Cemetery, the home is centrally located in an Old Town residential neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the White Street Art District. For shopping and nightlife, you can easily walk or bike to Duval Street, approx. 7 blocks, or the Historic Seaport.

Our family of four recently stayed at One Havana Lane for a week. It was the best vacation we have ever had! Every detail and aspect of this property creates a perfect oasis. The outdoor living space is amazing with ample seating and the pool is perfect. Inside the beds are so comfortable, the kitchen is outfitted with new retro looking appliances creating the perfect mood with everything you need. It is conveniently located and close to Duval Street along with many other desired attractions. The rental company did everything to make our stay a seamless process.

This property was perfect for our group of two couples during Christmas and New Years. Very close to all attractions and shopping. Beach also close by. The best part was the feeling of seclusion. The property is like your own little tropical getaway. Perfection in the back yard for sitting, swimming and cooking out. Description of this property is spot on. We definitely would consider coming back for a stay.

We took my 90 year old father for his birthday here. It was beautifully appointed inside and out. There were separate air conditioners in each bedroom so he could keep his on low and ours on high. The air conditioner unit in the living room didn’t work quite as well as it was a little warm but nothing we couldn’t live with. It’s clear that the owners put a lot of thought, artistic talent and effort into the decor and the kitchen as well. Super cute appliances and completely furnished with everything we could ever need. Excellent outside area, plenty of space and well-maintained pool. Super private and quiet. We rented a golf cart and that was perfect for us to get from there to anywhere on the island. I did see from another review a small complaint about no soap in the bathrooms, I thought that was a little silly but actually we didn’t have any either. Would have loved to have some small soaps and shampoo, etc. but it’s a small thing. Very clean, no bugs ( My wife is a bug phobe!). Highly recommend, would be thrilled to go back again anytime!

House and backyard were better than the pictures. House was super clean and the rental staff was quick on anything we needed. Enjoyed the pool and kitchen and grilled allowed us to bring some home cooking to our stay. Great neighborhood and very quiet. Convenient to all of the activities we took advantage of. Look forward to returning.
