Casa Typica is our newly refurbished holiday cottage. This is a separate property located next to Casa Ribeira. The cottage has room for 5 people and affords all modern conveniences whilst retaining its original charm with beautiful beamed ceilings and wooden floors. On the first floor there is a kitchen, living room and bedroom with bunk beds. The kitchen has a four burner stove with oven, coffee maker and refrigerator. On the ground floor are two bedrooms one with a single beds and a bedroom with a dubble bed and the shower-room. From the bedroom there is an entrance to a slate terrace with private patio where guests can enjoy their meals outdoors if they wish to. There is also the opportunity of using the bbq and traditional, outdoor bread oven which can be used for pizza or bread.

Breakfast and dinner are optional and provided on request.
Guests can use all the facilities of Casa Ribeira during their stay.

There is a swimming pool with sun beds, tastefully furnished terraces including a romantic swing and a waterfall and river where you can also bathe.

Orchard-private terraced grove:
The Orchard is a secluded, natural terraced grove with orange, chestnut, apple, plum and olive trees and an abundance of grape vines. This is a large, private grove, for our guests to freely enjoy.
The Orchard has several open areas and in the evening guests can relax among the exuberant stars and possible campfire, enjoying a delicious wine and other delicacies that Portugal has to offer. It is a magical place to be.
Many products are still produced in this area using traditional methods. The wine, meat, fish, olive oil, fruit and vegetables are of the best quality and flavour.

Bar:
There is a bar / breakfast room (with various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Also available are ice creams, snacks, etc.). It is a place where you can also play a variety of games and there are also movies to borrow.
A barbecue is available and an original bread oven in which we regularly make homemade pizza and bread.

Laundry:
There is a washing machine you can use for a small charge and also ironing facilities.

Mountain Bike Hire:
Mountain bikes can be hired if booked in advance.
Culinary:
Indulge yourself and book our resident chef to cook and look after you for an afternoon/evening.
Also we give you the necessary tips and information about tours and activities in the area.
We also provide beautiful WALKING TOURS & WINE & CHEESE TASTING EVENTS.
PICNICS are also available.
Night forest walks/drives are available for those who are interested in wild life and are looking for something a bit different.
