Newly renovated and environmentally friendly (rainwater/solar system), the cottage has around 10 acres of olive terraces where olives, almonds, figs and carobs are surrounded by mountain wilderness and herbs growing in profusion. No noise, no roads, no neighbors, just peace and quiet.

This is a small two-storey cottage newly renovated and environmentally friendly (rainwater/solar system), with french doors opening onto 2 terraces with stunning views with the Med in the distance. Hiking and bird watching are on your doorstep and fishing in the River Ebro is a short drive away. There are no neighbors and complete seclusion is yours. The french doors at the back of the house open from the lounge onto a walled herb garden with outdoor dining area with a barbecue. Downstairs there is a cosy living room with wood burning stove, kitchen, small dining area and comfortable seating. The bathroom is on the ground floor, a big comfortable bedroom with amazing views is in the upper floor. The cottage is built into the hillside olive groves, with steps from the parking site to the cottage and its garden. The cottage has around ten acres of olive terraces - almonds, olives, figs, carobs - surrounded by wilderness, where rosemary, thyme and many other herbs grow in profusion.

This is a get-away-from-it-all retreat, environmentally friendly, with water from our rainwater storage and power from our solar system. So ... there is no TV (but there is very clear cellphone reception) and there are no electrical appliances, no washing machine, etc. Instead, there is the opportunity to experience how a remote cottage can operate on solar power and keep you warm, cosy and content by natural, sustainable methods. Just ask us for details. YOU WILL NEED A REASONABLY HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLE FOR THE ROUGH, UNSURFACED, SCENIC MOUNTAIN ROAD (5KM/3.6 MILES) UP TO THE COTTAGE. IF YOUR CAR IS LOW-SLUNG, WE´LL BE HAPPY TO LEND YOU OUR OWN HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLE AT A NOMINAL RATE OF 20 EUROS PER DAY INCLUSIVE OF FUEL, FOR DRIVING ONLY ON THE MOUNTAIN ROAD UP TO COBOREAS, with free, secure parking provided at the foot of the mountain. Birdwatchers will be thrilled by the eagles which soar above the cottage and by sightings of the distinctive hoopoe . There are steep stairs to the bedroom, with gates at the top and bottom for child safety, and you will be surrounded by the aromas of herbs, both wild and cultivated. All linen and towels provided.
