Description

The villas are immersed within a 50 ha estate of rolling hills, vineyards, groves and woodlands. Having no immediate neighbors means we have total privacy, and no noise restrictions or curfew; making it an ideal venue for a retreat or a special celebration such as a wedding or birthday. The gardens are a playground for adults and children alike: lime, oak and cherry trees provide shade, while lavender and thyme, roses, jasmine and broom perfume and enliven the landscape. Dip into our swimming pool for respite from the midday heat and enjoy lounging on the deck chairs until sunset, watching the sky turn red and feeling the cool evening air descend.

Villa Campostefani

Campostefani is the main guest villa with seven spacious bedrooms. The rooms have traditional terracotta floors, deliciously cool underfoot in summer, and almost all have en-suite bathrooms and direct access to the gardens. The master bedroom has a private terrace.

The historic barn, converted into a quaint two-story cottage with en-suite bathroom and stunning views from the bedroom balcony, is practically an independent villetta with its own kitchen and living area.

There are several living areas, both indoors and out, with ample room for guests to make themselves at home. There is wi-fi for all to enjoy, a small library to peruse at your leisure and a satellite television in the upstairs family room.

Villa Maladina

A leisurely ten minute walk along a cypress-lined avenue separates Campostefani and Maladina, the two villas that comprise this historic homestead (the earliest foundations date back to the 12th century). Villa Maladina is our country home, it’s where our four children grew up.
