Grand Salon:-
The "Grand Salon" is an impressive room with a high beamed ceiling and comfortable sofas for you to relax and enjoy a range of activities such as snooker, darts, board games and Satellite TV.
A great room to simply "chill out".

The Grand Salon leads onto the large covered terrace overlooking the swimming pool, providing a shady retreat from the sun and a pleasant place to dine and enjoy our regular barbeques.

Food and Drink:-
Our rates include full continental breakfast to prepare you for the day ahead, served either on the terrace or in the Grand Salon.

An evening meal is available every day, and Mark & Merryn will use fresh local produce to prepare the region's speciality dishes. Vegetarian options can be hard to find in France, but we will provide delicious vegetarian alternatives to the main menu on request.

A children's menu can also be served for our younger guests.

Complementary locally produced wine will be served with all evening meals. Soft drinks will be provided as an alternative.

If you are planning a full day out, we can also prepare a delicious picnic hamper to take with you to enjoy in the numerous beautifully scenic picnic spots around the region.

Swimming Pool:-
The 5 x 10 metre swimming pool is within a walled enclosure, bordered by sun terraces and fully complies with the latest safety legislation. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided for your comfort and refreshments can be provided while you relax.

The swimming pool is sheltered by fine oak woodland which makes it extremely private.

Accomodation:-
Le Vieux Chene has been completely renovated to provide a very high standard of accommodation suitable for your stay at any time of the year.

Bedrooms:-
Le Vieux Chene can accommodate a maximum of 15 persons. Every room is comfortably furnished with its own modern en-suite facilities, and all the rooms have their own private entrance allowing you to come and go as you please .

There are 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, 2 bedrooms that sleep 3 persons, and a Family room that sleeps 4 persons, all with central heating.

The Grounds:-
A large barn next to the farmhouse provides ample covered parking for cars, motorbikes and cycles.

The farmhouse sits in its own picturesque grounds of nearly 9 acres of woodland and fields that may be explored at any time. Set on a quiet road, it is ideal for families with children as it has plenty of room to play in safety.
