Freights Reach is a contemporary 2 story villa on Barbados’ beautiful South Coast. Ideal for families and small groups the house is fully equipped and the interiors are light, bright and airy providing tranquil surroundings with cool tiled floors downstairs and natural wooden floors upstairs. Housekeeping two days per week is included.
Overlooking the glittering azure waters of the Caribbean, the villa is located yards from the main access to Freights Bay, Barbados’ most popular surfing location. If you are a beginner there are several options for equipment rental and tuition.
Double doors lead on to spacious terraces on both floors; enjoy morning coffee on the upstairs patio with its sea views, and later in the day the shaded area of the verandah and pool deck are ideal for enjoying the sea breezes while watching hummingbirds flit about the vibrantly coloured bougainvillea and hibiscus in the private garden; or you can get some sun-kissed R&R lounging by the pool with a good book and a cool drink.
In the evening al-fresco dining is a must, sample the local fish from Oistins market (a 20 minute walk) on the barbecue; and visit the famous Friday night “ Fish Fry” for a lively evening’s entertainment.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with Quartz counter tops, a 2 door large fridge/freezer with ice maker, as well as 2 Smeg convection ovens and ceramic cook top.
