The Old School House of Passirac, built at the turn of the century for the children of the neighbouring Chateau also used by the Red Cross during the war. Today, having been lovingly renovated, this make a fabulous, very reasonably a priced holiday home. Overlooking the local church and rolling countryside, set in just under an acre of gardens filled with fragrant shrubs with plenty of lawn area for children to be children. Our aim is to bring together French lifestyles with the best of British hospitality. We try to ensure that everyone in your party enjoys themselves to the full and are on hand to guide you to the best spots of our area. Maison St Louis may not be elegant or manicured but it is brimming with character and charm making it comfortable, relaxing place for holidays and celebrations and a place children can be children and adults can switch off from the pressures of life. The overall property houses, 3 gites that accommodate 25 people in total and the owners house. The Property, Grounds and Bar/Games Room: Situated on a quiet village lane, entering at the rear into large driveway with ample private parking, all external areas are shared with other guests. The garden is on two levels the top level has flower beds, a large sand pit, it is not uncommon to see the mums and dads in the morning enjoying the morning sun with a coffee watching the children in the sand pit whilst still in there pyjama's! All properties have outside tables, perfect for eating 'al fresco' on lazy summer evenings, the lower garden is large enough for a game of badminton, football or cricket. Enclosed in this area is the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The entire garden is enclosed. We understand the importance of having fun, so we have installed a games room, this is on the top terrace. You can bring your own drinks here, mix with other guest, play cards or darts. In the games room is table tennis, a football table, dart board,books and numerous board games, for the sporty ones a multi gym, we are happy to show you running paths, walking treks and bike routes. Outside the games room is a large BBQ and communal seating, where all guests can join each other for sunset cocktails and mull over the days activities. Wifi for the property is available in the games room, it is not available in the properties. At Maison St Louis, the atmosphere is very relaxed, we want you to go home feeling you have totally switched off for a week or so. St Louis The kitchen is light and bright reflecting the sun, the units are made of Italian Oak with tiled surfaces and floor, which is carried through to the dining room. This room has a large table that can seat 10 people, with a view of the war memorial and leads through to the lounge, with its wooden floors and calm cream walls, three-piece suite, TV and stereo, the television only plays DVD's, the large spacious room has French doors that lead you back into the garden. In the lounge, there is another door that leads to the stairs.
